November in Deutschland St. Martin gefeiert. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein traditionelles, evangelisches Kirchenfest, um den heiligen Sankt Martin (der Schutzpatron der Bettler und Soldaten) zu gedenken.<\/p>\n<p>In S\u00fcdafrika begehen wir das Fest bereits im Mai\/Juni und basteln daf\u00fcr unsere eigenen Laternen, singen traditionelle deutsche Lieder und beschenken die Kinder im Anschluss mit leckeren Martinsm\u00e4nnchen.
