In order to register your child at the St.Martini Kindergarten, parents must fill out our online registration form and submit it by the deadline. We also need a copy of your child’s birth certificate and proof of the paid registration fee.

If all requirements are met, we will process your application and let you know as soon as possible whether your child’s registration was successful. The basic requirement is a minimum age of 3 years and existing knowledge of German language skills. 

Guest children who would like to attend the St.Martini Kindergarten for a maximum of 6 months can fill out a separate online registration form specifically for guest children. If your child is with us for more than 6 months, you are welcome to use the normal registration form.

Our kitchen project “Kochlöffel” startet at the beginning of 2022 and we are very proud to be able to offer our children fresh meals from our own kitchen every day. Our cook Agnes conjures up wonderful dishes that taste really amazing for little gourmets. In addition, the children in Wynberg can help to plant vegetables so that they can stir fresh and healthy ingredients from their own garden into the cooking pot. There is nothing better than seeing where some of our ingredients come from, such as carrots, tomatoes, zucchini and many herbs.

Here are the ingredients for our secret tomato sauce: tomatoes, onions, garlic, mixed peppers, zucchini, celery, carrots, butternut, spices and herbs. All roasted in the oven and mixed together – who would have thought that so many vegetables could taste so delicious.

What we don’t harvest ourselves, we get from a small but diverse greengrocer in Observatory. His fruit and vegetables come mainly from the farms in the area. Always fresh and seasonal.

At the beginning of each term, parents can book after-school care for their child as needed. Afternoon care starts at 13:00 and children must be picked up by 17:00 at the latest. The fees for afternoon care vary depending on the pick-up time.

Afternoon care can be booked either for individual days or for the entire term.

The exact prices will be announced at the beginning of a new year. In 2023, single afternoon rates range from R70 to R160 (depending on the times your child stays in after-school care). Prices for an entire term vary between R1,530 and R5,420.

During the holidays, the St. Martini Kindergarten offers holiday care for most of the school-free weeks. If you would like to continue to send your child to kindergarten during these periods, you can easily and flexibly book our holiday care.

Our teachers and aftercare staff always try to put together an exciting and topic-related program during all holidays, so that the children are offered a varied program. Holiday care takes place when at least 15 children have registered.

Holiday care begins at 8:00. Children cannot be dropped off earlier during the holidays. The afternoon care takes place as usual until 17:00.
